Mission Statement:
The mission and purpose of Josh Truxall Racing, LLC. (JTR) is to be a leader in the motorsports industry by providing companies and businesses with unique and thriving ways of marketing their services or goods in a successful, winning way to the most loyal fans in the world. Motorsports Fans! All the while continuing to win races, be a leader in research and development and pushing our company into the national spotlight with hard work, determination and ingenuity.
JTR is a family business built on a strong work tradition of honesty, integrity and good old-fashioned hard work. JTR feels there is nothing more important than being loyal and fair in all that we do and hold that level of expectation to all associates of JTR. We know that by holding these virtues, JTR will be and continue to be one of the most successful and respected race teams in the nation.
JTR also believes that we can ensure ourselves and our clients ongoing success into the future as we continue to be at technologies cutting edge, while maintaining our traditional values.
Biography:
Owner/Driver: Josh Truxall
Josh is a graduate of the University of Akron with an Associate Degree in Surveying and Mapping Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Survey and Mapping.
Josh is currently employed by Beaver Excavating of Canton, Ohio as a lead surveyor. And is also the co-owner of Maple T Acres- hay and straw division.
Company History:
Josh Truxall Racing (JTR) was founded in 2004 and became a limited liability company (LLC) in the last quarter of 2005. The 2004 racing season saw many quality finishes in the street stock class, including JTR's first win in just its first season. The season was also spent racing at many different facilities on both asphalt and dirt sirfaces.
The 2004 season was a success, all the while gaining priceless seat time for driver Josh Truxall, building team continuity and getting a handle on the vigors of race day preparations. This includes the long hard hours spent during the week performing routine maintance, fixing damage incurred during the week's previous action and research, developement were also priceless lessons learned during the 2004 racing season.
In 2005, JTR decided to take on Mansfield Motorsports Speedway full time and run the complete weekly racing schedule at the only track to host a major NASCAR event in Ohio. This campaign lead to a third place finish in the points standing making driver, Josh Truxall, the highest finishing rookie in the class. In eleven starts, JTR had one feature win, ten top five finishes, eleven top ten finishes and five heat wins in ten heat starts, giving JTR an average finish of 3.45. The season was brought to a close with JTR winning the Cavalcade Event At Mansfield Motorsports Speedway against over 35 competitors from three states. The successes of 2005 did not stop JTR from learning and continuing to push their research and developement program to the forefront of the racing community.
The 2006 season saw JTR moving up to the highly competitve Elite Modified Series Division. JTR competed at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway in the weekly racing division going after the season championship and rookie of the year honors.
The 2007 season saw JTR make another move up to the O'Reilly USA Modified Series. This series covered a three state area. Which opened up the team to the traveling and competitveness of more drivers.
In 2009, JTR ran a sport stock at Midvale Speedway to get back into the racing mode after sitting out the 2008 season.
For 2010, JTR is gearing up for the ASA Challenge Series. More details to follow.
